I'm Mari Sakamoto, an artist in Hawaii.

Besides making my artwork, I run Kaimuki T's.

I graduated from the University of Hawaii, majoring in Art.

Even though my major was painting, I learned everything about screen printing in College. The screen printing process fascinates me so much.

I get very excited every time I lift my screen and see the image transferred to the T-shirts! I love printing !! ❤️

This is a small business I run by myself.

I make one new design every year.

I get inspired by Hawaii's nature and animal theme.

My goal is to make Hawaii people smile by wearing my T-shirts.

Also, I go to the Made in Hawaii Festival every year in August. I enjoy meeting local customers in person.
